Co-codamol 8/500mg Effervescent Tablets provide fast-acting relief for moderate pain when standard painkillers are not enough, combining paracetamol and codeine in an effervescent form for quick absorption.

Use for:

Co-codamol 8/500mg Effervescent Tablets provide short-term relief from acute moderate pain that has not responded to standard painkillers like paracetamol, ibuprofen, or aspirin alone. These tablets are particularly useful for treating muscular and rheumatic pain, headaches, migraines, neuralgia, toothache, period pain, and other common aches and pains.

Active ingredients: Paracetamol 500mg, Codeine Phosphate Hemihydrate 8mg.

Other ingredients: Sodium hydrogen carbonate, citric acid, sodium carbonate, povidone, simeticone, sodium saccharin, aspartame (E951), polysorbate 80.

Adults: Take 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Children 16–18 years: Take 1 to 2 tablets every 6 hours as needed, up to 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Children 12–15 years: Take 1 tablet every 6 hours as needed, up to 4 tablets in 24 hours.

This medicine contains codeine, which can cause addiction if used continuously for more than three days.
Do not take other products containing paracetamol while using this medication.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have breathing difficulties, bowel issues, liver or kidney disease, or a history of alcohol or drug abuse.
Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
